Today's world of constant change means that the role of marketing is unrecognisable from 10 years ago. It's all about delivering great value, driving demand, connecting without pretension and building measurable brand loyalty. 

But most of all it's about storytelling. A great story, when well told, inspires teams to embrace creativity and innovation. It allows for both planned and agile responses. Collaborating as a team to craft a brand narrative enables any business and its entire organization to rally behind a purposeful plan for success. This helps employees believe in and connect with the mission.

In 2015 I was recognised by Global Telecom Business as one of the Top 50 CMO’s. That was quite a while ago and I’ve learned a lot since then. Alongside all the must haves for a senior marketing leader, I’ve recently developed a special interest in environmental sustainability, the inteligent application of AI, and how to build a strong purpose drivenn company culture.

I live in London with my wife and two children and I have skis, football boots and golf clubs gathering dust in my cellar.
